Yes. In fact, most helmets don't deaden sound as much as they should. So many doctors now recommend that earplugs be worn inside helmets. Earplugs block out the louder wind noise related sounds, but you can still hear traffic noises. I, for one, highly recommend earplugs and I never ride without them.Related links in this series:
