Yamaha: Motor India to become India Pvt Ltd

Just saw this on Bloomberg. Before you guys speculate, allow me. I think this is just one of the many organisational changes that Yamaha is going through as it finds its way back to profitability in India. On the ground, not much will change apart from the name – in the sense of drastic changes or any such thing. But the changes might (I imagine) make it easier for Yamaha to launch/design new products and/or smooth the process of further here.

Yamaha plans to replace its money-losing Indian motorcycle business with
the new venture, called India Yamaha Motor Pvt., the Iwata City,
Japan-based company said in a statement filed to the Tokyo Stock Exchange
today. The unit will begin operating in April.
