Apache 160 2: The meters

This is the meter console for the new Apache 160. As you can see, it looks pretty neat. The little black 'rectangle' at the bottom beside the key holds the various idiot lights. In addition, a battery fault, service required and low fuel lights are on the tacho face. The service indicator only lights up for the first ten seconds when you start up the bike. The service chaps will reset the light at the service. The large LCD panel holds the speedo, two trips, odo, fuel gauge and a clock. It's orange-lit like the Pulsar's unit. More soon.

Awesome scoops yet again!

A suggestion : It would be a good idea if you add a watermark to the pics that you post here so people dont post them elsewhere and claim them to be theirs..

Rearset boss, you've got some fantastic inside access to the industry. Keep it up.

And it's great to see TVS in aggro mode.

the instrument panel is cool, the petal discs are cool and the bike looks good. But can TVS do a 25bhp, 250cc engine? for me, that is the big question. And that is where I think Bajaj has an edge over TVS.

TVS is an Indian company. It has started its R&D late due to its restriction of breaking away from Suzuki.compared to Bajaj which was a step ahead. So unlike to International players, TVS has limits on Financial implications and R&D. So i definetly see TVS in a commanding spot 10 years down the land. So i request you give TVS time and appriciation on what it does.
